The mum of 17-year-old Nikoline went to the police after launching an appeal to find her daughter on social media, saying she had vanished from the Puerto Banus nightclub Funky Buddha at around 4am on Monday morning. Today it emerged she died just before 5.30am the same day after being hit on the A7 motorway near Cala de Mijas, around 30 minutes from Marbella. A witness who called the emergency services said a woman had been hit by a lorry whose driver fled the scene. The missing teenager wasn’t carrying any ID, but police confirmed it was her after further inquiries trincowing her family’s decision to report her disappearance.
