As plant-based products become a larger trend, people will look for where to buy these foods. Walmart and other supermarket chains won’t develop
the relationships and distribution agreements over-
night.They will buy the companies that already have
those arrangements.
Example: Wild Oats being bought by Whole Foods.
Another more recent example: White Wave being
bought for 2.5x revenues.
Right now NGVC has been slowly expanding with new
stores every quarter

And it trades for only 1/2 x sales.
A similar acquisition as WWAV will be a 400% return for NGVC.
