CyberArk (CYBR)
is a strong buy up to $50. For risk management, we’ll apply a 25% trailing stop loss.
CyberArk’s enterprise-value-to-sales ratio (EV/Sales), based off 2017 estimated revenues of $270 million, is just 5. That’s about half the EV/Sales ratio that CyberArk carried back in 2014.
My forecast is for a compounded annual growth rate of about 25% through the year 2020. This would put annual revenues well above $500 million, around $530 million per year. For a company of this quality, with this kind of
growth rate, I would expect an EV/Sales ratio of around 8. This would result in a valuation three times higher than where we are today. But don’t worry. You won’t have to wait until 2020. I believe that CyberArk’s higher valuation
will be realized within the next 18 months.

Needless to say, a company this attractive, trading at this kind of valuation, is a prime takeover target. Companies like Oracle, IBM, and CA Technologies would be prime acquirers, and I am confident that several private equity
firms would love to acquire the company with a plan to
sell at a much higher valuation a couple of years down the
road.
