Estoy perdido.

Esta es mi respuesta a IB:

Good morning,

In regards to the above mentioned issue, I had an appointment yesterday with the Spanish tax authorities to clarify that subject. They told me that since the beggining of the ELbichito 19 crisis no more certificates printed on paper are signed or staped. Instead of that, they issue their own certificates to justify tax residence and they have already told that to the Ireland tax authorities. The document is isued in english and includes instructions for verification.

Thus please find attached the 8-3-6 form filled by me as stated by the Spanish tax authorities and the fiscal residence certificate. The latter should be attached to the former to make it valid.

This is the link to the page of the Spanish authorities where all this is explained in detail.

Thanks in advance and regards,

Dear Client

Thank you for submitting your form. The rules in Ireland state that we can only accept forms that are stamped and signed by the Tax Authority in Spain. Due to the number of clients stating that the local Tax Authority refuses to sign and stamp it, we have contacted Irish Revenue Authority to request if they would be amenable to accepting the form with the attachment. The Revenue Authority has not responded as of yet, we will not reject your form at this time, however, we cannot provide the tax exemption until the Irish Revenue Authority states that the form as completed is allowable.

Many thanks

Buenas tardes,
