Sí, son puristas y rejuvenecidos. Aun así en directo se pegan sus buenos bailes coreografiados, como cuando eran jóvenes.

En conciertos también son ellos quienes cantan. No hacen playback al uso pero sí que utilizan pistas pregrabadas en algunos momentos, como en los coros o para hacer voces dobladas (voz grabada+voz en directo).

¿Pero qué acabo de leer? Que alguien pegue la letra entera de "I Want It That Way" de memoria, en 2026, a estas alturas, o es un ejercicio de nostalgia mal entendido o es que el copiar-pegar de Google no tiene límites. En cualquier caso, ya me dirás tú qué aporta esto al debate de fondo.

Que sí, que el tema es pegadizo, pero es pop prefabricado de finales de los 90, fabricado por suecos con calculadora en una habitación de Estocolmo. Lo que pasa es que entonces al menos había producción real detrás. Ahora lo que te encuentras es a estos artistas con la cara retocada haciendo playback en cruceros para jubilados alemanes, y a la generación actual llamándolo "contenido".

Y ojo, que no te quito razón en lo de la Edad de Plástico, pero eso no es de ahora. Los Backstreet Boys ya eran plástico en 1999. Lo que pasa es que entonces la juventud tenía la desfachatez de venderte el plástico como si fuera emoción real. Ahora ni eso: ahora el plástico se vende como plástico y además te cobran suscripción mensual.

Lo del cantante con el moño, ni te cuento. Ese tío debe tener más tiranteces que el déficit público, pero bueno, cada uno que haga con su aspecto lo que quiera. El problema es cuando el resultado empieza a parecerse a un personaje de cera del museo de Madame Tussauds.

Lo de las críticas constantes que suelta otro por ahí, apuntado queda. Porque sí, te humillan constantemente con estas opiniones y encima hay que aplaudirles como si fueran pioneros. Es inaceptable.
